High Elasticity Prosthetic Suspension TES Belt For Above Knee
Functional instructions:
Suspension Belts offer added suspension of the artificial limb to the residual limb. This can provide extra security and support for specific activities (like running, biking or horseback riding), or can be the primary method of suspension. Amputees who experience volume changes in their residual limbs may also find them useful.
Suspension belts are made with exposed non-slip Neoprene on the inside cuff area, which wraps around the prostheses and helps keeping it from slipping.Velcro fasteners around the cuff and waist allow for easy application and comfortable fitting.
Suspension belts available in different sizes for above knee amputees with lightweight and breathable materials and are customized for various ages and activity levels.
Application:
Waist belt is applied diagonally to give support to the adductor panel.
To enhance suspension,pull the cuff down on the prosthesis or raise the waist band on the unaffected side increasing the diagonal pull.
